The temptations fue un grupo de cantantes, y en 1968 lanzaron una canción de protesta con una letra muy fuerte, no solo dedicada a la segregación, sino también a las elecciones que se venían en el mismo año. En resumen, la canción dice que se su raza se siente humillada, y de políticos queriendo comprar sus votos con mentiras del trato a los afroamericanos.
